These terms cover the use of this website and the general shape of a project with Matos Creative Co. Every project also gets its own written proposal, and if that proposal says something different from this page, the proposal wins.
The pricing, timelines, and examples shown here are accurate at the time of writing and are meant to give you a realistic picture of what working together looks like. They are not a binding offer. Your actual quote depends on the scope we agree on.
Portfolio pieces and case studies describe real client work. Results shown for one business are not a promise of the same results for another.
After we talk, I send a written proposal covering what is included, the number of pages, the revision rounds, and the timeline. Work starts once you approve it.
Anything outside that scope is a change request. I will tell you what it costs and how it affects the timeline before doing it, not after.
One-time builds are invoiced with a deposit up front and the balance due before the site goes live. Monthly care plans are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled with 30 days notice.
Specific amounts and due dates live in your proposal and invoices.
Projects move at the speed of content. I need your photos, service details, and feedback on drafts to keep a timeline on track. If materials or approvals stall, the launch date moves with them.
You confirm that any text, photos, or logos you send me are yours to use.
Once the final invoice is paid, the finished website design and its content are yours. You own the domain, the hosting account, and the site.
I keep the right to show the finished work in my portfolio and case studies unless you ask me not to.
Third-party pieces such as fonts, stock photography, and plugins stay under their own licenses.
Sites are typically hosted on Netlify or a comparable provider, and may connect to services such as booking tools, analytics, or email platforms. Those services have their own terms, pricing, and uptime, and I do not control them.
I build sites carefully and set up SEO properly, but no one can guarantee a specific ranking, traffic number, or amount of new business. Search engines decide that.
My liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Either of us can end a project in writing. You pay for the work completed to that point, and I hand over the files for it.
